Avocado and hemp seed dip

Makes 250g


  • 2 perfectly ripe nutty avocados (Hass or Reed would be my pick here)
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp salt flakes
  • ½ tsp freshly ground pepper
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil


  • Into a small food processor, add the avocado flesh, zest and juice of 1 lemon, hemp seeds, salt, pepper and olive oil and blitz until super smooth, taste for seasoning and serve into a shallow serving bowl with an extra sprinkle of hemp seeds over the top.
